The Tigers will face Georgia Southern in their first ever game at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Georgia Southern’s loss to Auburn on Saturday night was the first loss of the season for the Tigers.
The Bulldogs are 3-2 this season and have beaten Auburn before in Atlanta.
Georgia Southern is 2-1 this season against Auburn, including an upset win over the Tigers in the 2012 Peach Bowl.
Bryant-Dennis Stadium is Auburn’s home field.
Georgia has won at least one game in each of the past three seasons at Bryant Denny Stadium, and is currently 4-0 in the game.
Georgia’s loss came in the second half.
There was a good portion of the stadium quiet for much of the game, and some fans began booing Georgia Southern.
Fans booed at the end of the first half as they were booing the Bulldogs.
Some Georgia Southern fans had on T-shirts that read “The Game is Over.”
Some fans also began chanting “F— Georgia,” while others shouted “Georgia, F— Georgia.”
There was also a large number of Georgia fans with red shirts that read, “You’re the real team.”
Georgia fans have been a loud and loud contingent at BryantDenny over the years.
They are very passionate, and I’ve seen some of them booing other schools before.
I think that’s a bad sign for the SEC.
It just shows that we have some issues that we need to work through.
If Georgia is going to be able to win this game, they need to be consistent and be focused on winning games.
We need to do that.
And we have to do it now.
As I was walking out the tunnel, Georgia fans began chanting the same thing.
Everyone was chanting the exact same thing that we were chanting before.
