FSU will travel to Boston on Saturday for the first time since being ousted by the Seminoles in the SEC Championship Game.FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said on Tuesday the Seminole Nation is feeling better about the team’s chances of making the postseason and that the program will be ready for the BCS Championship Game in Atlanta.
Fisher said he’s confident FSU is ready for Georgia, which is the SEC champion, and the Panthers are also in the running for the SEC East.
But he acknowledged there are no guarantees the Seminobals will be playing at Georgia’s stadium on Saturday.
Florida’s home game against Georgia Tech will be played at Georgia Dome in Atlanta, but FSU’s next game against the Panthers will be against Miami, according to Fisher.
He also said he expects to see a lot of excitement from Florida’s fans for the home opener against the Bulldogs.
Florida is 4-0 at home this season and won three of those games against Florida State.
